What we build

Three trades, one coordinated crew. We plan, build and pour so each stage hands off cleanly to the next.

Formwork

Custom and system formwork for walls, slabs, columns and architectural finishes. We detail each pour sequence with the engineer and the site team before the first panel goes up.

Reinforcement

Bar cutting, bending and placement to the structural drawings. Cover, spacing and lap lengths are checked against the drawings before concrete is ordered.

Concrete placement

Pump and crane placement, finishing and curing for slabs, walls and foundations. We plan crew size, mix timing and weather protection around the schedule.

About Northline

Northline Concrete Forming Ltd. is a fictional Toronto contractor created for this typography exercise. The profile is written to resemble a typical contractor website: a short statement of how the crews work, and a commitment to safe, well-documented sites. Our crews plan every pour with the general contractor and the structural engineer, agree the formwork layout and reinforcement schedule in advance, and keep a written record of inspections so that each stage is ready before concrete arrives.

Every project starts with a review of the drawings and a site walk. From there we confirm access, crane and pump positions, and the sequence of pours, so the crew knows what is expected on each day and the project team can see the plan.

How we work

  • Pour planning with the site team
  • Inspection checkpoints before every pour
  • Daily site safety talks
